The contract page brings together everything about the contract: its document, its information, its participants, its exchanges and its actions. It keeps the same layout throughout the life of the contract: only the available tabs and actions change depending on its status and your rights.
The contract header
At the top of the page, you will find:
the contract participants
the Share link button, to copy the contract's sharing link
the Compare versions and Upload new version buttons
the contract actions menu, described below
📌 To share a contract, see Share and access contracts.
The document
The document takes up the center of the page. This is where you read, edit or negotiate it, depending on the editing rights you have been given.
📌 To edit and negotiate the document, see Edit, format and negotiate a contract with review mode.
The side panel tabs
The side panel groups the contract information by tab:
Activities: the contract history and internal comments. Use activities to collaborate internally
Summary: the key information of the contract and its smart fields
Bundle and attachments: the contract attachments. Attach a file to a contract
Participants: the people involved in the contract and their rights. Add internal participants to the contract
Tasks: the tasks linked to the contract, if this feature is enabled for your organization
Reminders: the reminders scheduled on the contract. Manage my reminders
Clauses: the contract clauses, once it is signed
Some tabs depend on your role or on the contract: for example, the Participants tab is not offered to viewers and signatories, and the Activities tab only appears if the contract has a document or a signed PDF.
The actions menu
The header actions menu offers the following actions, depending on the contract status and your rights:
Version history: view the successive versions of the document. Manage contract versions
