Your counterparty manages its contracts with Tomorro and has sent you a link to review or sign a contract. Access is free of charge.
The essentials in three points:
No account to create: a code received by email or your Google account is all you need.
You suggest, you never edit directly: your changes appear as suggestions.
You can keep working in Word: your counterparty can send you the Word file as an email attachment.
Understand why you are receiving this link
The email comes from your counterparty. It may include a message or instructions from them.
The button in the email shows what your counterparty expects from you:
Revise the document: review the contract and suggest your changes.
Sign the document: sign the contract.
This email contains a secure link to Tomorro. Do not forward it to prevent others from accessing the documents.
Access the contract without creating an account
You do not need to create an account or a password. To open the contract:
Click the button in the email.
Enter the email address at which you received the invitation.
Enter the 6-digit code received by email. This code is valid for 10 minutes.
Is your address a Google account? Click Sign in with Google instead of waiting for the code.
📌 Not receiving the code, or seeing an error message? See Access the contract version as a guest.
Find only your contracts
Once signed in, the Your contracts page lists the contracts you have been invited to, with an Open button on each one.
You only see your contracts: you have no access to your counterparty's other contracts or to its Tomorro workspace.
Suggest changes without touching the text
Your counterparty chooses what you can do on the contract:
Right granted | Read the contract | Comment | Suggest changes |
Can read | ✅ | ❌ | ❌ |
Can comment | ✅ | ✅ | ❌ |
Can suggest | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ |
Even with the Can suggest right, you never edit the text directly: every addition or deletion appears as a suggestion, visible to both parties.
📌 To suggest, comment and send back your version, see Review the content of a contract.
Keep working in Word
Prefer to review the contract in Word? Ask your counterparty to send it to you as a Word version: you receive the Word file as an email attachment. The link in the email remains valid.
To send back your revised version:
Open the contract from the link in the email.
Click Upload new version and select your Word file.
Click Send back to send your version to your counterparty.
Your revised version is added to the same contract in Tomorro, as a new version.
A Word file cannot be edited in the Tomorro editor: make your changes in Word, then upload the new version.
