Sign a contract with the Tomorro signature

How to sign a contract with our native signature?

Are you signing a contract with the Tomorro signature for the first time? Follow these steps to complete the process smoothly!

Access the contract to be signed

  • You will receive an email titled "[Name of the counterparty] sent you a document to sign

  • Once you open this email, simply click on "Sign the document"

  • Follow the steps to access the contract securely

Sign the contract

  • Once you are on the contract in Tomorro, click on "Start signing":

  • You will be automatically taken to the signature zone.

  • Click on sign

  • Fill in any additional information if needed

  • Click on "Insert signature":

Once both parties have signed, you will receive a confirmation email containing the signed version of the contract.

Frequently asked questions

I can't see the Sign button

The button displayed depends on the type of invitation you received by email:

  • "To sign" email: if you received an email titled "[Name of the counterparty] sent you a document to sign", the contract status will be "To sign" and you will see the "Start signing" button in the top right corner.

  • "To review" email: if you received an email inviting you to review the document, the status will be "Review in progress". In this case, it is normal not to see the "Start signing" button. You will instead see the "Resend" button once the review is complete.

Check the email you received to confirm whether you were invited to sign or to review the contract.

If the status shows "To sign" but you still can't see the button, try refreshing the page or switching browsers (see our article on resolving access issues).

The signature is handled by another tool (DocuSign, Yousign...)

Some contracts on Tomorro do not use the Tomorro signature but an external signature provider (such as DocuSign or Yousign).

In this case:

  • The "Start signing" button in Tomorro will not work

  • You will receive a separate email from the signature provider with a dedicated link to sign

If you have not received this email, contact your counterparty to have them resend the signature request.

Correct your name before signing

If you made a typo in your first or last name when accessing the contract, you can correct it directly in the identity fields at the time of signing, before validating.

If the contract has already been signed with an incorrect name, contact your counterparty to have the contract resent for signature.

Company stamp or seal

The Tomorro electronic signature does not support adding a company stamp or seal. A handwritten or typed signature is legally sufficient to validate the contract.

If your organisation requires a stamp, contact your counterparty to agree on an alternative.
