Duplicate a contract

How to duplicate a contract to create a new one?

Updated this week

Tomorro allows you to easily duplicate a contract, regardless of its status (in preparation, under negotiation, in signature, or signed).

This feature lets you create a new contract from an existing one without starting from scratch.

All the fields from the original contract will be pre-filled, so you only need to review and modify them if necessary.

Duplicate a contract

  • Open the contract you want to duplicate.

  • Click on "..." (top right), then select "Duplicate contract".

  • Modify the details if needed:

    • Contract name

    • Counterparty

    • Storage folder

  • Create an amendment by checking "Create as an amendment" (if applicable)

    • The two contracts will then be linked.

  • Click "Duplicate"

The duplicated contract will automatically be set to "In preparation" and can be modified at any time.

Duplicated contract content

The duplicated contract includes:

  • The contract:

    • If the contract was signed → the signed version is copied.

    • If the contract was not signed → the latest saved version is copied.

  • All contract fields are pre-filled as in the original project but remain editable.

You can then manage the new duplicated contract as needed.
