Updating amendment data in the summary sheet will not automatically update the data in the initial project.
Access amendment creation
When you are in a signed project that has no amendment or is an initial project, you will now see an Amend button.
Click this button to access the different amendment creation options:
Create an amendment from a template
Select the option “From a template”: If your administrators have predefined amendment templates, select this option.
Pre-filled custom fields: The system will automatically complete the fields of the chosen template, provided that this information exists in the initial project.
Pre-filled counterparty details: Counterparty information will already be entered to simplify the process.
Duplicate a project
Select the option “Duplicate a project”: If you want to create an amendment based on the current project, choose this duplication option.
Pre-filled custom fields: The project will be duplicated, and an amendment will be created with all relevant information pre-filled.
Link an existing project
Select the option “Link an existing project”: You can also create an amendment by linking an already existing project.
Link creation: Once the project is selected, the link will be established, and it will be considered an amendment.
Information update: The link connects the elements, but the fields and summary sheet will not update automatically.
Import a signed amendment
Required format: The document must be in PDF format.
Click “New Project”
Select the option “Store a signed document”
Select the file: Choose the corresponding PDF file.
If the document title contains the words AMENDMENT or AVENANT, the system will automatically detect it as an amendment and suggest linking it to an initial project.
To complete the process:
Go to the Summary Sheet, section Linked Projects.
Click + Add.
Select the initial contract to link the amendment to the corresponding project.
