You may have multiple contracts under negotiation, but some may eventually be canceled or put on hold. With Tomorro, you can change the status of these contracts to "Canceled."
Cancel an ongoing negotiation contract
Click on the "Cancel Contract" button in the menu at the top right of your screen.
Specify the reason for cancellation.
The status "Canceled" will appear, along with "Negotiation Canceled."
The contract will no longer appear in the Ongoing Negotiations tab.
However, you can still find it in your repository.
Understand counterparty access after cancellation
When a contract is canceled, the counterparty can no longer edit or review it in the negotiation space. However, they can still open the contract: cancellation does not cut off their access.
Cancellation locks the negotiation, but it does not delete the contract:
On the counterparty's interface, the status is clearly displayed as "Negotiation canceled, document locked"
The canceled contract remains stored and accessible to the counterparty
Only deleted contracts are handled separately: a canceled contract is not a deleted contract
The counterparty cannot:
Edit the contract
Review or comment in the negotiation space
Relaunch a "Canceled" contract
If the contract becomes active again, you can restart the negotiation.
Open the contract and click on "Relaunch negotiation."
Your contract will return to Ongoing Negotiations status.
You can now modify the contract and send it to your counterparty for revision or signature.
