Edit my counterparty's name in the signature

How to edit the first and last name of a counterparty in the signature in Tomorro?

Updated today

If an error is detected in the counterparty's first or last name, the correction must be made by the counterparty themselves.

Access the contract

Invite the counterparty to open the contract via their access link. Upon first accessing a contract, the counterparty enters their first and last name.

Edit information at the time of signing

At the time of signing, the signatory will need to re-enter:

  • Their first name

  • Their last name

  • Their initials (if initials are used)

They can then correct or modify this information before inserting their signature.

It is not possible to modify this information on their behalf.

Same process on DocuSign

The process is identical on DocuSign. The signatory must confirm their full name, initials (if applicable) and signature. Only the person signing can modify this information. In case of error, simply ask the counterparty to proceed with signing to correct their information.
