The Creation tab allows you to standardize how contracts are initiated.
In this tab, you will find:
Define usage rights
Determine who can create a contract based on this contract type.
Restrict access to specific members or groups.
Configure the creation form
The creation form brings together all the fields that must be completed before generating a contract.
Understand required fields
A field can be required for two reasons:
Structure contract generation : As an administrator, you can make certain fields required (name, counterparty, amount, etc.) to ensure essential information is always completed.
Trigger contract rules : Some fields become required because they activate dynamic rules, such as:
Displaying or hiding specific clauses
Setting a dynamic contract name
Triggering automatic storage
Activating conditional approvals or signature workflows
Mandatory fields are identified by a lock icon.
When a field is used in a condition or a rule, it automatically becomes mandatory.
Hovering over the icon displays a tooltip showing where the field is used, helping you understand why it is required.
Add a field
Click Add to include a smart field in the form.
Reorder fields
Use drag and drop to reorganize the display order and adapt the form to your internal process.
Automatically add default participants
Click the "Add a participant" button in the Participants section.
Select groups or members from the suggestions, or use the search bar to find names.
To add a collaborator as a participant in the contract, they must be a member of your organization on Tomorro.
You can add as many groups or members as needed, at any time. This configuration is fully editable and can evolve with your needs.
Add conditions
You can define conditions to add participants to certain contracts (for example, based on geographic location or department).
To configure a condition:
click "Select a condition" next to the participant;
choose an existing condition or create a new one.
Conditions can be modified or deleted at any time.
When creating a contract, participants are automatically added according to the defined conditions as soon as the required fields are completed.
Remove a participant or a condition
To remove a participant or a condition, click the three dots next to their name and choose:
"Remove member / group", or
"Remove condition".
Add default attached files
Add attached files
Add files to your template so they are automatically included when each contract is created.
You can add multiple attached files in any format (250 MB limit per file).
Add attached files based on conditions
You can condition the addition of files based on predefined criteria.
Examples:
attach an annex in French or English depending on the contract language;
add a quotation only if the contract amount exceeds €1,000.
To configure a condition:
Click "Select a condition" next to the file;
Edit the existing condition, select another one, or create a new one.
Manage attached file access
Files added to the template are automatically included in each generated contract.
By default, they are private and visible only to internal users who have access to the contract.
To make a file visible to the counterparty, click "…" next to the file, then select "Share with the counterparty."
