Display versions
All document versions, whether Word (.docx), PDF (.pdf), or created via the editor, are now opened in review mode via the review button.
Each version has a dedicated toolbar in review mode, offering actions adapted to the document format:
For Word files: download in .docx or .pdf, edit in the editor, compare
For PDFs: direct display with download options
For editor-created versions: access to editing options
On the project’s main page, only the most recent version of the document is displayed.
Access version history
From both the main page and Review Mode, the context menu (“…”) at the top right lets you open the version history.
All previous versions are displayed in a list, with each entry showing:
The author and creation date
The status of the version
Available actions (see below)
Clicking on a version automatically opens it in Review Mode.
The toolbar allows you to:
Restore an older version: it then becomes the active version of the document.
Download the version in its available format.
Return to the current version without losing your changes.
Compare versions
Comparison is available for all editable versions (Word or editor).
From the version history, you can click “Compare” to view the differences between two versions.
Download versions
Versions can be downloaded from several places:
From the main page (only the latest version)
From Review Mode (via the context menu ‘…’ or the toolbar for Word and PDF versions)
From the version history
Depending on the document type, the following download formats are available:
Word (.docx): for Word documents or those created in the editor
PDF (.pdf): for all types, including Word and Editor
This allows you to:
Keep a local archive of project milestones
Share a specific version
Archive or print a given version
Restore versions
From review mode, you can restore any previous version.
To do this:
The selected version becomes the new active version, visible on the main page and editable if needed.
You can always revert to the latest version or another earlier version using the same process.
