Track all project-related emails and document versions in Tomorro

How to track in Tomorro all emails and versions exchanged about a project?

Updated yesterday

With the unique email address generated for each project, Tomorro allows you to:

  • Centralize all your communications related to a project.

  • Automatically import Word versions exchanged by email.

  • Improve visibility and collaboration among all counterparty.

All communications and shared documents appear directly in the project’s “Activities” section.

Track a project directly from Tomorro

When you send a contract from Tomorro, the project’s tracking email address is automatically added to the outgoing message.

1️⃣ Select the version you want to send:

  • “Editor version” (if you’re drafting directly in Tomorro), or

  • “Word version” (if you’re working from a Word document).

2️⃣ Click “Send.”

Tomorro automatically adds the project’s tracking email address to the message sent to your counterparty.

Track a project outside Tomorro

You can also track a project even if your exchanges take place outside of Tomorro.

Get your project’s tracking email address

  • Open your project in Tomorro.

  • Click the “…” (three dots) button in the top right corner.

  • Select “Copy project email” in the section “Track emails sent outside Tomorro.”

👉 This unique email address lets you automatically associate email exchanges with your project.

Add the tracking email in copy (CC) to your external exchanges

All emails sent or received in that thread will automatically be linked to the project in Tomorro.

Make sure to ask your counterparty to always click “Reply all” so that the Tomorro project email remains included in the conversation.

View email exchanges in the “Activities” section

If the Tomorro project email address is added to your exchanges (in CC or automatically from Tomorro), all email messages will appear in the project’s “Activities” section.

You can view the full history of discussions without leaving Tomorro, for a centralized and transparent project overview.

Automatically import documents received by email

When a document (for example, a new version of a contract) is sent to the project’s email address, Tomorro:

  • Automatically displays it in the “Activity” section, and

  • Allows you to import it directly into the project.

➡️ Simply click “Import” to add the new version of the document.

This way, all your document versions remain centralized in one place : no manual upload needed.
