Tomorro allows you to export your contract data in Excel format from a filtered view or from the repository.
This feature is available for PRO, SCALE and ENTERPRISE plans only.
Access the export
You can export your contracts from:
The repository (administrators only)
Who can export contract data: the Admin, Manager and Contributor roles. The Viewer and Signatory roles cannot run this export, whatever the surface used. Exporting the entire contract repository remains reserved for administrators.
The export only contains the contracts you have access to: those you are a participant in, and those located in a folder shared with you or with a group you belong to.
A filtered view never widens your access rights: it only sorts what you can already see. That is why two people exporting the same view do not necessarily get the same number of rows, and why a list may look incomplete to you.
For example, you can:
export contracts expiring or renewing soon from a filtered view
create a filtered view to export only specific contracts (e.g.: Contract type = NDA)
Filtering contracts before exporting allows you to select only the ones you want to export.
Export the data
To export your contract data:
Go to a view or a folder in the repository
Select the contracts using the checkboxes (or select all)
⚠️ From a filtered view, the export includes all contracts in the view, regardless of checkbox selection. Manual selection only works from a folder or the repository.
Click on the ⋯ menu in the top right corner
Select Export Contracts
Choose Excel File (.xlsx)
The file is then generated and downloaded.
Understand the file contents
The Excel export contains:
smart fields
counterparty information
statuses
key dates (signature, renewal, notice period)
contract metadata (ID, name, type, category, creator, etc.)
⚠️ The document content is not included in this Excel export.
The Created by column shows the author of the contract, meaning the person who created it. That is not necessarily the person who sent it for signature, and this information does not appear in any column of the file.
To find out who sent a contract for signature, open the contract and check its activity history, which records who started the process.
Understand access rights
Administrator: can export from a view or the repository
User: can only export from a filtered view, for contracts they have access to or for which they are a participant.
Viewer: does not have access to the Excel export.
When your export targets a folder, it also includes that folder's subfolders, limited to those you have access to.
Good to know
The export includes only the contracts visible in the view or folder being used
From a filtered view, checkbox selection is not taken into account: all contracts in the view are exported
Exporting from the repository is available for administrators only
Exporting from a folder does not include contracts from subfolders: only contracts at the current level are exported
This export only includes contract data
