Create filtered view

How to create, share, or modify a view based on specific criteria for your contracts?

Updated over 3 weeks ago

You can also easily create an unlimited number of filtered views.

Create a new filtered view

As an example, we will create a new view to display only the executed contracts where Tomorro is the counterparty.

Here are the steps to follow:

  • Click on "+" from the "Filtered Views"(menu on the left)

Name the new view

Apply the necessary filters

To display only the desired contracts. You can add as many filters as you like :

For our example, let's choose the criterion "Counterpart = Tomorro" and "Status = Excecuted"

Choose which columns to display/not display

  • Click on the "Smart Fields" button

  • Check/uncheck the columns and

  • Change their order if you wish by dragging the smart fields.

Save

  • Finally, click on "Save this view".

Share a view

Access rights are not affected by views.
If a user doesn’t have access to certain contracts, even if a view displaying those contracts is shared with them, they won’t see them—the view will appear empty.

Private views: Visible only to you.

By default, any new view created is private and visible only to its owner. Only the owner can share a view.

Public views: Visible to all organization members.

  • Click "Share" at the top of the view.

  • Check "Make public."

You can change it back to private or share it with specific groups/members at any time.

Shared views: Accessible to specific members/groups.

  • Click "Share" at the top of the view.

  • Select the members/groups in the designated field.

They will then see the view in their menu.

Remove access to a view

Hover over the name of a member/group and click the cross icon on the right.

Modify a view

Only the creator can modify a shared view (name, filters, sharing settings).

If another user edits a view and saves it, a private copy is created, visible and editable only by them.

  • Enter the view you need to edit

  • Add, delete or change filters and/or column display as desired

  • "Save Filtered View".

Delete a view

In order to delete a view, you have to be the creator of this view.

  • Click on the "..." at the top right of the view

  • Click on "Delete View".

Any view deletion will be permanent, you won't be able to recover a deleted view. But you can always create it again.

Only the To process view cannot be deleted.
