The tabular review lets you run a risk analysis or extract information across a batch of contracts in one go: one row per contract, one column per point to check.
Oro, Tomorro’s AI assistant, fills in every cell from the actual content of your documents, backed by its reasoning and source quotes.
Where a question asked in the Oro chat covers one contract, a tabular review answers at the scale of your whole portfolio. It covers two main use cases:
Check compliance of your contracts against a reference: a regulation (DORA, AI Act…), an internal policy or a playbook;
Extract information in bulk: which contracts auto-renew? Which ones are governed by US law? Is clause X present, and has it been amended?
Tabular review is in beta and requires AI (Oro) to be activated on your organization. To get access, reach out to your Tomorro contact or our support team.
Create a tabular review
There are three entry points:
from the Tabular reviews side menu, by clicking New review;
from the Repository: select several contracts, then click Tabular review in the bulk actions bar;
by asking Oro directly (see the last section of this article).
Viewers and Signatories cannot create tabular reviews. Creation is available to the Admin, Manager and Contributor roles.
Choose the contracts to review
Name your review, then define its scope in the Contracts step:
pick the contracts one by one, or
apply filters (contract type, status, folder…) then click Select filtered results. At least one filter is required if no contract is selected manually.
A tabular review is limited to 50 contracts and 30 columns. Beyond 50 contracts, narrow your filters or your selection.
Build the extraction columns
Each column asks one question. Define it once: Oro extracts the answer from every selected contract.
Generate columns from a playbook
To check your contracts against a playbook:
Click Column builder
Select the reference playbook
Click Add and run
Each playbook rule becomes a column. For every contract, Oro returns a verdict: Acceptable (compliant with the rule), Not acceptable, or Not defined if the information is missing or ambiguous.

Create a custom column
To freely extract a piece of information, click New column:
Describe what Oro should extract in the field What should Oro extract? (for example: “What is the termination notice period?”)
Name the column if you wish: without a name, Oro generates one automatically
Choose the type of expected answer: Text, Number, Date, Yes/No, Single choice, Duration or Multiple choice
For the Single choice and Multiple choice types, list the allowed options (one per line): Oro will only answer with one of these values.
A playbook is not required: a review can contain only custom columns, or combine both.
Launch the review and read the results
Click Create and launch: the review status changes to In progress and the table fills in as the analyses run, with progress shown in real time. Once every cell has been analyzed, the review status changes to Completed.
Click a cell to open the extraction details:
the reasoning behind Oro’s answer;
the source quotes taken from the document;
a confidence score;
the option View source in document, to check the clause in its context.
A cell can also show “Pending…” (analysis not launched yet) or “Extraction failed”.
Relaunch or extend a review
A review stays live after its first run, you can:
Add a column: the new question applies to every contract in the review;
add contracts to the scope;
edit an existing column, then relaunch the analysis;
click Run pending analyses: only missing or failed cells are rerun.
If your reference changes (new regulation, updated playbook), simply adjust the columns and relaunch the analysis, without recreating the review.
Columns cannot be edited while an analysis is running.
Share or delete a review
A review is private by default: it is only visible to the person who created it. To share it, click Share then enable Make public: it then becomes visible to all members of the organization.
Only the person who created a review can launch it, edit it or delete it (via the menu … then Delete this review).
Deleting a review is irreversible.
Create a tabular review with Oro
You can also request a review directly in the Oro chat, in natural language: for example, “Check that my signed DPAs comply with my DORA playbook”. Oro then prepares the review and shows you a validation card summarizing the scope (selected contracts or filters), the playbook used and the proposed columns.
Nothing runs without you: Oro needs your approval before creating or changing a tabular review. Once the analysis is complete, open the table from the conversation with Open review.
