The Reports tab offers a ready-to-use dashboard to analyze your contract activity: contract volume, signature times and approval performance.
The Reports tab is restricted to administrators: other roles do not see it in the menu.
Access the Reports tab
Click Reports in the side menu.
The metrics update automatically based on the selected filters.
Filter the data
Five filters let you refine the analysis:
Status: filter by contract status (Draft, Negotiating, Signing, Not active yet, Active, Renewed soon, Terminated soon, Terminated, Executed, Canceled).
Contract type: limit the analysis to one or more contract types.
Created by: filter by contract author, member by member or by group.
Counterparty: restrict the analysis to contracts with one or more counterparties.
Period: choose a predefined period (Since the beginning, The last month, The last 3, 6, 9 or 12 months) or set a custom range (Between two dates, or Since a date), from the calendar or by typing the dates directly.
By default, the reports show the last 3 months. The period filter is based on the creation date of contracts.
Track contract volume
The Volume section includes four metrics:
Contract volume by status: number of contracts by their current status. All statuses are displayed with a dedicated color, even when no contract is in them. If a status filter is active, only the selected statuses appear.
Contracts by type: breakdown of contracts created over the period, by contract type (top 5 contract types).
Contracts created per month: monthly trend of the number of contracts created.
Top groups by contracts created: ranking of groups by number of contracts created, attributed via the contract author. A contract can count in several groups.
The Volume section includes signed imports.
Measure signature performance
The Signature performance section tracks the signing timeline:
Average time to signature: average number of days between contract creation and signature.
Average time to signature by type: same calculation, broken down by contract type.
Average time from sharing to send for signing: average number of days between the start of the negotiation and sending for signature.
Average signing time (internal): average number of days between sending for signature and the internal signatory’s complete signature.
Average signing time (external): average number of days between sending for signature and the external signatory’s complete signature.
Signed imports are excluded from signature calculations.
Measure approval performance
The Approval performance section analyzes approval workflows:
Average approval time: average duration of the approval workflow, from contract creation to the end of the workflow.
Average approval time by type: same calculation, broken down by contract type.
Average approval time before send for review: average duration of approval workflows triggered before sending for review.
Average approval time before send for signature: average duration of approval workflows triggered before sending for signature.
Understand the calculations
Performance metrics are calculated on the cohort of contracts created during the selected period: the corresponding signatures or approvals may therefore have taken place outside this period.
Durations are displayed in days, or in hours when they are shorter than one day.
Hover over the title of a section or the information icon of a card to display the calculation details.
