Use smart fields in a contract type
Custom fields turn a contract type into a dynamic, structured document.
They allow you to:
Automate data entry through an automatically generated form
Guide internal teams and counterparties on which information to complete
Secure data by reducing input errors
Automatically track key data after signature, with no manual action required
Access the contract type
Open the relevant contract type.
Access the template content.
Insert a smart field into the content
Insert via the editor
Place your cursor in the text and click the Field icon.
Insert from existing text
Select a word or expression, then click the Field icon to convert it into a field.
Insert using the @ shortcut
Type @ to display the list of available fields, then select or create the desired field.
Bulk insert with Find and replace with
This feature allows you to replace one or multiple words with a field in a single action, speeding up document structuring.
Replace a single occurrence or all occurrences
Insert a field or plain text
This feature does not apply to clause content.
