Dynamic tables allow you to quickly enter lists of information in a project (e.g. product lists, billing lines, offer items, etc.).
Once a project has been created from a template that includes a dynamic table, you can fill it in directly from the project, either manually or via an Excel import.
Before you start
To fill in a dynamic table in a project, it must first have been configured in the template by an administrator (columns, field names, etc.).
Accessing the dynamic table in a project
Create or open your project
Switch to Review mode
In the form panel on the right-hand side of your project, locate the section corresponding to your table
(e.g. Products sold)
As long as the table has not been filled in, you will usually see an indicator such as: 0 rows.
Method 1: Fill in the table manually
Best suited if you only have a few rows to enter.
In the right-hand panel, in the table section (e.g. Products sold), click the Edit icon
Click Add a row
Fill in the required fields (e.g. Name, Description, Unit price, Quantity, Total, etc.)
Click Confirm
The rows are automatically displayed in the table.
Method 2: Import rows using an Excel file
Best suited if you have a large number of rows (catalogues, pricing grids, product bundles, etc.).
Step 1: Download the template
In the dynamic table, click the Import icon
An import window opens, showing the import process
Step 1: Download the template
Click Download template
An Excel file is generated with the correct columns (based on the table configuration)
Step 2: Fill in the Excel file
Open the downloaded file
Enter your rows in the existing columns
Do not change the column names
Make sure to respect the expected formats (prices, quantities, etc.)
You can copy and paste existing data into the file.
Step 3: Import the completed file
Go back to the interface
In the import window, click Step 2: Import the completed template
Upload the completed Excel file
The rows are automatically added to the dynamic table and appear in the project.
Usage tips
Do not rename the columns in the Excel file: they are used to match the table fields.
If you have many rows, use the import option: it is the fastest method.
You can run another import if needed: new rows will be added to the table (depending on the table behaviour and configuration).
Frequently asked questions
Why can’t I fill in certain values?
Some fields may be linked to a custom object or prefilled fields, or may be locked depending on the project configuration.
I don’t see the table section in the form. Why?
This usually means that:
The project does not have a dynamic table configured in its template
The table is not properly set up
