The Playbook allows you to define negotiation rules and standardize your contract review process using AI.
You can create rules based on predefined clauses or draft new ones from scratch in your template.
This feature is reserved for administrators.
Access your Playbook
Log in to your account.
Open the contract type of your choice.
Go to the Automations review tab.
Click "Playbook".
Create a rule from a clause
If you have no rules yet, the screen will display an empty state.
Click "Create a rule" to get started.
After clicking "Create a rule", the clauses from your clause library will appear.
Select the clause to which you want to add a rule.
Clauses from your template are identified by a Contract type tag, making them easy to spot and saving you time when setting up your Playbook.
AI-generated drafting
Based on the selected clause, the AI generates the standard position for your rule.
A message "Oro is drafting your rule…" appears during automatic generation.
You can click the Improve with AI button to let AI help you draft more effective Playbook rules.
The generated rule will be in the same language as the original rule.
All you need to do is accept or dismiss this improvement.
Edit and save the rule
Once the AI has finished, you can modify the fields before saving the rule.
Edit the rule name (predefined with the clause name).
Adjust the generated standard provision.
Add an alternative provision if needed.
You can also generate alternative provisions via AI: by clicking Generate with AI, two proposals are automatically created:
one oriented towards rejection,
the other oriented towards acceptance
to quickly enrich your Playbook without drafting clauses from scratch.
Save and publish the rule
Once your rule is finalized, you have two options:
Save as Draft: allows you to come back later to modify it.
Click "Save as Draft" to save without publishing.
Publish the rule: the AI will use this rule to assist in contract review.
Click "Save and Publish" to add it to the published rules.
Manage rules
Once created, rules appear under the following tabs:
Published: list of active rules.
Draft: list of drafts.
You can edit, delete, or add new rules at any time.
Special cases
Cancel a creation: Clicking "Cancel" triggers a confirmation message to prevent loss of work.
Exit without saving: A warning message will ask if you want to save your progress.
Attempt to publish with empty fields: An error message will indicate the missing fields to complete.
