How to set up your Playbook to automate project review and ensure consistency in negotiations?

Updated this week

The Playbook allows you to define rules for contract clauses and standardize your contract review process using AI.

You can create rules based on predefined clauses or draft new ones from scratch.

Access your Playbook

  • Log in to your account.

  • Navigate to a template's settings and click on “Playbook”.

Create a rule from a clause

  • If no rules exist yet, you will see an empty state.

  • Click “Create a Rule” to start.

  • A list of clauses will appear.

  • Select a clause (e.g., Confidentiality Clause).

AI will generate a rule based on the selected clause.

AI-Generated drafting

  • Once the clause is selected, AI will draft a rule for you.

  • A message “Oro is drafting your rule…” appears during the automatic generation.

  • Wait a few seconds, then you will be redirected to the rule editor.

Edit and save the rule

  • Once AI has completed the draft, you can modify the fields before saving.

  • Edit the rule name (predefined with the clause name).

  • Adjust the standard generated provision.

  • Add an alternative provision if needed.

Save and publish the rule

Once your rule is finalized, you have two options:

  • Save as Draft – Allows you to return later for modifications.

    • Click “Save as Draft” to save without publishing.

  • Publish the Rule – The AI will use this rule to assist in contract review.

    • Click “Save and Publish” to add it to the published rules.

Manage rules

Once created, rules appear under:

  • Published – List of activated rules.

  • Draft – List of editable drafts.

You can edit, delete, or add new rules anytime.

Special cases

  • Cancel a rule creation – Clicking “Cancel” will trigger a confirmation message to prevent loss of work.

  • Exit without saving – A warning message will ask if you want to save your progress.

  • Attempt to publish with empty fields – An error message will indicate missing fields that need completion.
