Add a translation of a template into different languages using Oro or from a Word document.

Updated over a week ago

Do you would like to add a translation to your template in Spanish, Danish, or Portuguese? It's now possible in just a few clicks thanks to Oro!

Add a translation to a template

To translate a template, you have three different options:

Option 1 - Using automatic translation with Oro

If Oro is activated on your account, you can ask it to automatically translate an existing template.

If you would like unlimited access for all your team members, you can contact your Customer Success Manager to upgrade to the unlimited version.

  • Step 1 - Click on "Add a language" and select the desired language from the drop-down list.

  • Step 2 - Click on "From IA translation."

  • Step 3 - Oro takes care of the translation.

And that’s it! In just a few clicks, your new template is translated into the desired language! That’s not all—Oro also translates the custom fields and clauses inserted into your original template!

For each clause and custom fields it added a translation!

Option 2 - Using a Word file (without Oro)

  • Step 1 - Click on "Add a language" and select the desired language from the drop-down list.

  • Step 2 - Click on "From a Word file."

  • Step 3 - Upload your Word document.

  • Step 4 - Manually add the translation of each custom field and clause used in the base template by editing them.

    • For custom fields:

  • For clauses:

  • Step 5 - Insert the fields and clauses one by one in the desired locations.

Option 3 - Using a blank document

If Oro is activated on your account, but you do not have the unlimited version, it will use your available credits to automatically translate the template, along with the fields and clauses inserted in it.

If Oro is not activated, you will have a blank page.

  • Step 1 - Click on "Add a language" and select the desired language from the drop-down list.

  • Step 2 - Click on "From a blank document."

  • Step 3 - Write your translation.

  • Step 4 - Format your document.

  • Step 5 - Manually add the translation of each custom field and clause used in the base template by editing them.

    • For custom fields:

  • For clauses:

  • Step 6 - Insert the clauses and fields into the document.
