Managing multiple languages for a template

How to translate your template into multiple languages?

Updated over 2 months ago

Do you have contract templates in French, English, Spanish, German, etc.?

Would you like your teams to be able to select the template in their preferred language when creating a new contract?

Tomorro makes it easy to manage them all in one place: the template.

Add a new translation

  • First, go to the "Templates" tab.

  • Select the template for which you want to add a new language.

  • At the top of the document, you will find a tab indicating the current language of the template.

  • To add a new language, click on "+ Add a language".

  • Choose the language you want to add from the dropdown list.

Choose the basis for your translation

Select one of the following options:

  • From an existing Word document that you can edit later.

  • From an automatic translation (including translations of custom fields).

  • Now, multiple tabs will be displayed, each corresponding to a language, allowing you to switch between them and configure them as needed.

Each document version/language is independent.
However, procedures and settings (archiving, summary sheet, assignment, editing rights) remain the same for all versions/languages of your template.

Edit or delete a version

  • Click on a language tab within a template.

  • Click on "...".

  • Choose the desired option:

    • Settings: You can change the language of the version. Click "Save" to confirm.

    • Delete Version: This option removes the selected version. Click "Delete document" to confirm the deletion.

Any deletion of a version is final and irreversible.
