Manage my notifications

How to configure the notifications received by email?

Notifications are customizable on each personal account: it is not possible to set notifications for all members or for another account.

The different notifications

As soon as you log in to Tomorro, the bell at the top left, next to your company's logo and name, informs you of unread events (contract status change, progress of requests, new requests, signed document, etc.).

In addition to the notifications available on the Tomorro platform, you can receive notifications by email, depending on your settings. They are grouped into four categories:

  • Contract activities: mentions, comments, signed document, approvals, signature processes, being added as a participant, monthly digest (admin and manager roles).

  • Reminders: automatic reminders before the start of the notice period.

  • Tasks planning: assignments, completed tasks and daily or weekly summaries of your tasks.

  • Absences: an approver or signatory is out of office on one of your contracts.

The full list of events is visible directly on the Notifications page of your settings.

Being notified of a comment or activity from the counterparty

When the counterparty comments on your contract or adds an activity to it, whether a notification is triggered depends on the type of comment:

  • A public comment from the counterparty (message in the discussion or comment in the contract's Activities) notifies the contract participants, even without an @mention.

  • In other cases, or to alert a specific person, the counterparty can @mention them: they type @ then select the person from the suggested list. The mentioned person then receives a notification, in the bell and by email.

Special case: if the contract was sent to the counterparty by a colleague (for example a sales rep), they may not know your name and cannot @mention you directly. You will receive their public comments if you are one of the contract participants; however, this does not cover all activity. To make sure you don't miss anything, check the Activities tab regularly.

Who receives a contract's notifications?

Contract activity notifications (comments, mentions, signature, approvals) are sent to the people linked to that contract: members added to the contract, guests and the supervisor.

Sharing a contract or having access to it through a folder or a group does not trigger notifications: only participation in the contract counts. There is no team or group notification setting.

Other notifications do not depend on contract participation: reminders are sent to the members selected in the reminder, and weekly or monthly digests depend on your role. In all cases, reception depends on the settings defined by each person in their account (see below): your preferences filter what you receive among these events. Notification emails are sent in your account language.

The "The document has been signed" notification is sent only once, at the time of signature, to the people linked to the contract at that moment. It is not re-sent to people added afterwards: a Viewer who accesses the contract after signature does not receive it, even if it is enabled in their account.

No notification is sent when a contract is downloaded.

Setting up notifications

If you do not want to be alerted for some of these scenarios, you can easily manage it:

  • Untick the notifications you do not want to receive by email.

  • Changes are saved automatically.
