Store a signed document by email

How to store a signed contract by sending a PDF to your workspace's import address?

You can store a signed contract by sending a PDF by email directly to your workspace's import address. Tomorro automatically creates a signed contract to complete, without using an Excel file.

Find your import address

Your import address is available in the Store a signed document modal, accessible from:

  • the Repository → Store a signed document button in the top right

  • the + New contract menu → Store a signed document

At the bottom of the modal, the Transfer documents by email section displays your import email address. Click Copy to retrieve it.

The import address is unique to your workspace. It follows the format your-workspace@import.tomorro.com.

How it works

  • Forward or send an email with at least one PDF attachment to your import address

  • The first PDF becomes the signed contract document. Other attachments are added to the same contract as attached files.

  • The created contract appears in the Incomplete contracts view

  • Then complete the contract information (name, contract type, dates, etc.)

Required conditions

  • The email must contain at least one PDF file as an attachment

  • The sender must be an authorized member of the workspace

Otherwise, no contract is created and you receive an error email in reply.

To complete the contract information and archive it, see Store a signed document. To find your contracts to complete, see Track and complete incomplete contracts.

Do not confuse with a contract's email address

  • The import address (@import.tomorro.com) is used to store new contracts.

  • A contract's email address (@reply.tomorro.com) is used to track communications from the Communications tab.

Frequently asked questions

I sent a Word file and nothing appears: why?

The email must contain at least one PDF. Without a PDF, no contract is created and you receive an error email. Convert your document to PDF before sending it.
