There are three main statuses you need to be aware of:

This status indicates that the project is in effect immediately, where the duration of the project is defined as "instant execution."

This status refers to a project that is currently in effect and ongoing.
​

This status applies to either a fixed-term project whose end date has passed or an indefinite project that you have decided to terminate.
